From safe drinking water to proper disposal of waste water, safe and convenient roads, and site design for our schools, churches, shopping facilities and residential developments, civil engineering is an exciting part of the Fitzgerald Henne portfolio. Recent work includes:

Michigan State University Bakery Addition, MSU, East Lansing, MI
Fitzgerald Henne served as the civil enginner and part of the design team for this large-scale project on Service Road. Site work included creating barrier free access, parking and sidewalk re-design, a new loading area and utility extensions. Our team prepared the grading plan, utility plan, soil erosion and control plans, and handled site details. Currently underway, this project will be completed in early 2006.

Michigan State University Flood Wall, MSU, East Lansing, MI
MSU hired Fitzgerald Henne to design a floodwall that would protect the Library from potential flooding. Our team designed and prepared the construction plans for the new floodwall and the sidewalk replacement. The floodwall design included a capped, split fence Keystone retaining wall system.
